Graduating, Transferring,

General or Inactive

Graduating, transferring, general or inactive members are extended a special invitation to join us at our meetings, functions and events. One of the following will be required from any visiting member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® who visits a chapter meeting:

  • Financial card (current or expired) and another form of valid ID

  • Ivy Leaf Magazine with her name as recipient and another form of valid ID

  • Chapter member vouches for visitor

  • Transfer Verification Form from another chapter with required signatures

  • Proof of membership from Corporate Office


The process for graduate level membership into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is by invitation only. Therefore, no letters of interest are accepted by graduated chapters. We are a legacy of sisterhood and service and welcome you back with open arms.  Please find the appropriate forms for submission on the sorority's website.  If additional assistance is needed, please contact your region’s director, contact a local chapter president using the Chapter Locator, or contact our corporate office by submitting a Reactivation Contact Form
