President's Message
Soaring Above and Beyond In Sisterhood and Service
Welcome to the website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Eta Omega Chapter. The Exceptional, Elegant, and Elevating Eta Omega Chapter, established in 1922, is the first chapter of our international organization to be chartered in the Louisville Metro area. The chapter's commitment to education and the advancement of individuals is pivotal to our foundational belief of service to all mankind.
Our membership, comprised of distinguished women who boast excellent academic and leadership achievements, is focused on making a significant impact in our local and global community through advocacy, service, and local partnerships. We take our legacy of sisterhood and service very seriously because we firmly believe it is our duty to empower our Black families and uplift our community. This selfless work comes from the hearts of all Alpha Kappa Alpha women who make a life-long commitment to this purpose.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® impacts the lives of individuals worldwide through its implementation of international programs. Under the leadership of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed, Eta Omega Chapter embraces our International Program theme, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, which includes six program initiatives:

-

-

-
Uplift Our Local Community
Moreover, Eta Omega’s partnership with the Hortense B. Perry Foundation helps provide scholarships for college-bound youth, supporting the vision of our international focus.
We are committed to serving ALL mankind!
