Empower Our Families
The Empower Our Families Committee has delivered impactful service this year, focusing on strengthening families and supporting community needs. They provided 85 Childhood Hunger Power Packs (CHIPP) to students weekly, ensuring children had access to essential nutrition. The committee engaged youth aged 11-13 in leadership development through the Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) and provided 150 Thanksgiving baskets to families in need. They hosted technology sessions and a caregivers’ forum for the First & Finest Seniors, along with Easter lilies for homebound sorors and an annual holiday celebration and. Additionally, the committee prioritized mental health by sharing valuable resources and information, further enriching the well-being of those they serve.
